Jump is a high octane display of the ancient Korean fighting art of Tae-kwon-do, jaw-dropping flips, dazzling acrobatics and sword fights… crossed with a sit-com.

Let's review: martial arts plus comedy. Finally, our prayers have been answered.

Jump, which opened yesterday at the Peacock Theatre, was a big hit at the Edinburgh Festival last year thanks to its "Jackie Chan meets Buster Keaton" philosophy.

The premise, which could best be described as 'slight', revolves around a Korean family, each of whom is a martial arts hotshot and "who enjoy nothing more than challenging each other to martial arts showdowns."

Add a pair of "idiotic burglars" into that mix and you just know that 'hilarious consequences' will most definitely ensue.

Jump runs until 26 February. You can book tickets online or view a video clip of the performance here.
