Self-described “creators of the popular rolled sandwiches,” Doughmasters differentiates itself from the multitude of London’s sandwich bars by preparing fresh dough daily on its premises. This dough is tasty stuff; we particularly appreciate the carbon-flavoured, slightly burnt bits on Doughmasters’ in-house product, which is used as the base for their rolled sandwiches and pizzas.

Aside from the dough, Doughmasters is a pretty run of the mill place. Its selection of sandwich fillings/pizza toppings is more than adequate but nothing phenomenal. The service, seating, etc are well within expectations too. Not bad and better than we expected, Doughmasters is a decent option to keep in mind next time you’re looking for a cheap, fast lunch.

In addition to the Charlotte Street location, Doughmasters has two locations in Croydon.
