Comedy Preview: Gerry Howell's Incubator Hour, Camden.

2008_gerry_howell_width120.jpg There's a one-off comedy gig of note tonight in Camden. Comedian Gerry Howell brings his new show, Incubator Hour, to The Etcetera, on Camden High Street. Fans of incubators will be disappointed, but fans of Noel Fielding and Eddie Izzard will be in paradise, as Howell regales us with his disjointed, playful stream-of-consciousness stand-up. He's been making big progress since we interviewed him earlier this year - after getting to the finals in the Hackney Empire New Act competition, he went on to win both the Reading and Newbury Comedy Festival new act competitions, and his Edinburgh show was recommended by the Guardian as one of the 'Cream of the Crop' of the Fringe. He's definitely going to get bigger and bigger, and you know you can rely on us. Londonist famously launched the careers of Peter Cook, Monty Python and Jimmy "The Knife" McSandwich. Now we'll do the same for Gerry. Get ticket to this now! Tickets are £6.50, call 0207 482 4857 for tickets. Show starts 7.30pm tonight.
