Comedy Preview: The Al Pitcher Picture Show

Al_Pitcher.jpg We all know London pretty well, but how about seeing it through the eyes of a stranger? New Zealander Al Pitcher spends the day of each gig wandering the city he's in, taking photos of the things he sees and that appeal to his twisted mind set, and creates that night's set around them. Truly, you never get the same show twice.

There's a mission behind this version of 'a funny thing happened on the way to the theatre'. Al wants to give us a poke in the ribs and make us reconsider things we see every day, that have faded into the background of our everyday lives. And, you know, be funny about them.

This show has won awards from around the world, and you'll also be treated to the best pics from other places Al's visited. Where has the most amusing signage? Or dumpsters? Head to Bloomsbury and find out.

The Al Pitcher Picture Show, 4th November 8pm @ Bloomsbury Theatre, 15 Gordon Street, WC1H. Tickets £12.50 / £10. For more information see the Bloomsbury Theatre website.
