City financial types have come in for a lot of stick recently over their professional lives but in their extra-curricular activities they're earning unexpected plaudits. Last month's One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest at the Bridewell got our (sweaty) thumbs up so we're much looking forward to next week's Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) on home ground, at the Stock Exchange itself.

The Complete Works... ran for yonks in the West End and is familiar to many as a fast paced, funny show involving three actors, 37 plays and 15 wigs. This production has been road tested in offices around the city, including IPC Media, Sainsbury’s HQ, the Office of Fair Trading and Google so you know who to ask for a recommendation.

We'll be there on Tuesday to review but if you get tickets for Friday you can mingle with the cast and crew and an after party at the Hoop and Grapes, Farringdon.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) by SEDOS is at the Stock Exchange, 10 Paternoster Square, EC4M 7LS on Tuesday 13th at 7pm and Friday 16th October. Please arrive early to clear security. Tickets are £12.50 (£10 conc) and include a free glass of wine or beer (surely champers, Ed?) We'll be there to report back.
