Olympics Comedy Twenty Twelve Starts Tonight

If you ever wondered what's going on behind the scenes at LOCOG, the BBC's new mockumentary Twenty Twelve probably won't help, but it should provide some light relief for anyone tearing their hair out trying to decide what tickets to apply for tomorrow.

The comedy follows the Deliverance Team as they prepare for the biggest show on earth and stars Downton Abbey Lord Hugh Bonneville, Peep Show's Olivia Coleman, Spaced goddess Jessica Hynes, is narrated by David Tennant and comes from the brain of the man who created People Like Us. It starts at 10pm tonight on BBC4 which, given its stablemates of The Thick Of It, Lead Balloon and Getting On, gives us hope it's going to be the kind of thing you'll kick yourself for missing.

The clip above from episode 1 should be familiar to anyone who's ever sat in a "strategy" meeting at work and wanted to stab their own eyeballs with the laser pointer.
