Our choice of where to find funny this week
Sunday: Isy Suttie, David Mulholland, Paul Harry Allen, and Tom Goodliffe are a brilliant quartet to ease the pre-Monday pain. See them at the New Red Lion Theatre from 8pm (£10).
Monday: Tiffany Stevenson MCs Old Rope at the Phoenix (8pm), with Andrew Maxwell headlining plus new material from Rich Hall, Phil Nichol, Mickey Flanagan and Stuart Goldsmith. For £5. Unbelievable.
Tuesday: Idiots of Ants are trying out half an hour of new material at the Pleasance today and tomorrow. Half an hour? That's not much. Which is why they're joined by sketch group The Beta Males (7.30pm, £5).
Wednesday: We cannot recommend the subtly surreal musical whimsy of David O'Doherty highly enough. You'll leave the Bloomsbury Theatre with a happy smile and a gentle hum (8pm, £15).
Thursday: Humphrey Ker might be better known as one of sketch troupe The Penny Dreadfuls, but he's preparing a solo show in the guise of Dymock Watson: Nazi Smasher! at the Pleasance. A fiver, 8pm start.
Friday: Will Smith headlines the Covent Garden Comedy Club, with Matt Kirshen and Angie McEvoy. Windsor's on MC duty (8pm, £15 / £13).
Saturday: One-line punmeister Milton Jones does a turn at the Hammersmith Apollo from 8pm (£20).
Book ahead: we've been going on about the Fitzrovia Radio Hour for over two years now. And they always, always, always sell out. So we recommend bagsying tickets now for their Udderbelly appearance on 19th June (4.15pm, £12.50).
