Things To Do In London At The Weekend: 30 September-2 October

All weekend

Friday:

  • Make stuff at the V&A 'Power of Making' late from 6.30-10pm (free).
  • SLAM Last Fridays mean late openings and after parties - hop along to Skylark Galleries at Gabriels Wharf before 8pm or visit All Is Not Lost, a group show in Southwark Park's Gallery Cafe till 9pm.
  • Get Mouthy at Wellcome Collection with their gob-themed Late from 7-11pm (free but first come, first served).
  • The More London Free Film Festival closes with True Grit screening at 7.30pm at the Scoop.

Saturday:

Sunday:

  • Send your kids down the Museum of Childhood with your parents for the free Grandparents Day family workshop between 11am-4pm.
  • Celebrate the last day of Elefest at the FLEE Market for artsy, fashion, vintage and flea Market shopping plus after party till late.
  • Take a free crash course on the East India Company with walks, talks, screenings, performance and more at National Maritime Museum, Greenwich to mark the opening of a new Traders gallery, between 11am-5pm.
  • Hildreth Street Market, Balham, goes monthly from today, between 11am-4pm.
  • The Horse and Groom pub in Shoreditch celebrates the launch of the Sunday Project, a sort of arty fashion marketplace plus DJ disco hangout afternoon and evening, free entry from 5pm-2am.
