Sense And The City Events @ London Transport Museum

London Transport Museum have announced a suite of futuristic and fascinating events to accompany the Sense and the City exhibition.

Discussions, talks and screenings pose questions about navigating and mapping, privacy and surveillance, communication and society in current and future London.

This month, discuss the 'City as a Canvas' ripe for digital artistic interventions. In November, talk about fashion and the future and December brings a screening of chilling film 'Erasing David'.

In January, pin down Londonist Editor Matt Brown on his favourite back passages, onedotzero introduce short films on Future Cities on 1 February and a week later Robert Elms chairs a discussion on new technologies and the challenges to personal privacy. The programme's swansong in March sees another evening with onedotzero as artists and gamers turn the world into an interactive playground.

Plus, if you're handy with a camera and inspired by any of the ideas and topics mentioned here, watch out for an announcement coming soon on Londonist... You might want to get yourself along to the exhibition - read our review here - or one of these events so that you're prepared.

Visit the London Transport Museum website for information on all events, including dates, times, prices and how to book.

And a quick reminder that this weekend is a Family Open Weekend at the museum's Acton Depot. Adult tickets £10, under 16s free. Book online.
