Sunday: Geek Night Out at the Comedy Pub, Oxenden Street features Catie Wilkins, James Dowdeswell and others talking about what flicks their geek switch, 8pm start (free entry).

Monday: It's ImproFest at the Lion and Unicorn, Kentish Town ALL WEEK. Who knows what's going to happen? No one, that's who. But all tickets are £7.

Find comedy through the sad and tragic with Stand Up Tragedy in the Leicester Square Theatre Lounge from 7pm (£10).

Tuesday: Mitch Benn and the Distractions bring top music-based-comedy talent to the Phoenix, Cavendish Square for the Distraction Club from 8pm (tickets £7.50 adv).

Wednesday: Take a chance on some open mic at the White Lion in Streatham: Laughy Laughy Face Face throws 8 new stand ups to the lions to do 5-10 mins each. Show starts 8.30pm (free entry).

Thursday: Comedy quiz show The Humble Quest for Universal Genius pits Rufus Hound against Issy Suttie at Leicester Square Theatre from 8.45pm (tickets £10).

Friday: We have never been to the NewsRevue at the dinky Canal Cafe Theatre, have you? Try it tonight, 9.30pm (Tickets £10).

Saturday: Enter John Peel's Shed with John Osborne at Artsdepot, Barnet 8pm (tickets £12).
