- Film fests proliferate: The International Buddhist Film Festival is at Apollo Piccadilly till Sunday, the Terracotta Far East Film Festival is at the Prince Charles Cinema and the Fringe! Gay Film Fest (much more than just film) is in east London.
- CircusFest rolls into its third week at Roundhouse with 'three burly blokes' in the main space with Cirkus Cirkör: Undermän (tickets £20/18).
- Interested in the vision and masterplan for Elephant and Castle? Catch a screening of feature film/documentary 'A Ritual for Elephant and Castle' in Unit 237 (upper floor) of the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre (Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun at 6.30, 8 and 9.30pm - tickets £5+bkg).
Friday:
- Films at the Yard, Hackney screen Friday the 13th at 8pm (tickets £9 - be quick).
- The cool kids will be at the 1234 Shoreditch launch party at Rich Mix from 7pm (tickets £6+)
- The ukelele lovers will be at the Ukelele Slamdown thanks to U75's Brixton Offline club at the Prince Albert from 9pm (free).
Saturday:
- Join the Yoga Jam in the Front Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank from 10.15am (free).
- Fuss Craft Market sets up in Hither Green with local artists, designers and crafters, selling Vintage kitchenalia, handmade ceramics, delicate jewellery and re-cycled knitwear as well as homemade food at Lochaber Hall, SE13 from 11am-3pm (£1 entry).
- The Gate Cinema Kids Club get their Dickens on with a screening of Oliver Twist plus free activities from 10am, film starts 10.30am (£3/£1 members).
- Greenwich Dance host an afternoon of Family Cabaret with comedy, live music and dance in the Borough Hall, SE10 from 3.15pm (tickets £10/£7.50 or haggle for a whole table).
Sunday:
- Celebrate Thai New Year in Wimbledon with their Songkran celebrations from 9am.
- The Olivier Awards celebrate the best of London Theatre with a luvvy gong giving and a free public party in Covent Garden Piazza from 4pm means you won't miss a moment, with big screens and live entertainment from inside the Royal Opera House. Follow @londonist for updates from the red carpet!
