Things To Do In London This Weekend: 22-23 December

All weekend

VISIT GREENWICH: Take the kids to see Santa and do last minute shopping in Greenwich Market. See the Advent Windows at St Alfege and do the Greenwich Quizmas Trail. Details here.

GODLESSNESS: The last two Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People at the Bloomsbury Theatre are officially sold out but if you follow @RobinInce he's very good at retweeting spare tickets as they come up. Face value tickets £25, shows on Saturday and Sunday at 7.30pm.

KIDS MUSIC: A double bill of kids' classics are performed at Barbican Hall: The Snowman and Peter and the Wolf. Tickets are £25 for adults, under 16s £12.50 on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

WONDERLAND: To date, it sounds like Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland has been hellish busy but this weekend might be quieter, as folks head out of London. Browse the cod-German market, run riot in the funfair, enjoy big sausages, churros and mulled wine and take the children to see Father Christmas. It's free entry but take care not to get fleeced inside. Open 10am-10pm.

GOODIES: Stock up on festive foodie treats at the Real Food Christmas Market on Southbank Centre Square.

SKATE: As London empties there should be more space on the ice for your flailing form on skates - visit one of London's pop-up ice rinks.
