Stand Up For The Week
Channel 4's topical show Stand Up For The Week is back, and Paul Chowdhry, Josh Widdicombe, Simon Evans, Seann Walsh, Angela Barnes and Romesh Ranganathan test out their material at Herman Ze German on Old Compton Street every Monday until 16 December. James Acaster
James Acaster's show Lawnmover was shortlisted for the best show award in Edinburgh: not bad for gags about M&S and Yoko Ono. Catch it at Soho Theatre 4-9 November, £10-£15, 9.15pm
Bright Club
The fabulous mix of comedians and UCL academics hits Bloomsbury Theatre once more, date-appropriately about fire. Matt Richardson, Holly Walsh and Lady Carol are joined by researchers whose insights will be as funny as they are fascinating. 5 November, £8 + bf, 7.30pm
Sarah Millican
We love Sarah Millican. She sometimes does new material try-out nights in small London venues and we have never, ever, been quick enough to get a ticket. Damnit. At least there's three nights at the Hammersmith Apollo to look forward to 7-9 November. From £28.25, doors open 6.30pm
Popcorn Comedy
See live stand-ups (Richard Herring, Mae Martin and Brett Goldstein) interspersed with online comedy, all about the theme of online dating.
