Sketch quartet The Beta Males preview their new show Happenstance at the Hen and Chickens in Highbury and Islington on 2 June. They're one of the best sketchers around so get ready for high-quality tomfoolery. £7, 9.30pm
Laugh Til It Hurts
Head to the Comedy Store to help raise money for Cancer Research UK on 2 June, in the excellent company of John Moloney, Marcel Lucont, Patrick Monahan, Steve Gribbin, Keith Farnan and Matt Richardson, with Jen Brister MCing. £13, 8pm
BBQ Previews
We know it's summer when Invisible Dot breaks out the barbeque and starts putting on two Edinburgh previews with a burger for £12. This week see Tony Law and Mike Wozniak on 4 June and Mark Watson and Oscar Jenkyn-Jones on 8 June. £12, 7.15pm
Adam Riches, Sara Pascoe, Bridget Christie
Billed as 'an arousing night of comedy', this gig at Drink, Shop & Do on 4 June is amazing value. Not only do you get two Edinburgh winners (Adam Riches and Bridget Christie) previewing new stuff, there's also new material from Sara Pascoe, Sarah Campbell and Rachel Stubbings. £3, 8pm
Laugh Out Loud London
Thom Tuck hosts a Disney extravaganza at the Camden Head on 6 June, with a massive list of fellow comedians including Adam Larter, Harriet Kelmsey, Matthew Highton, Ali Brice and Tessa Walters. We suspect this will not be U rated. £3, 8pm
Mae Martin
The wee Canadian songstress is recording a new album at Soho Theatre on 6-7 June, so expect her finest material delivered on top-notch form. £12.50/£10, 7.30pm
