11 Things We Learnt From London Fashion Week

On the last day of London's 62nd Fashion Week, we look back at the key lessons to be learnt from LFW SS16. Here's everything you need to know about fashion in London right now.

And maybe yolk.

Burberry's gone 'street'.

Just look at these flats. And not an awkward check in sight. Plus the collection was previewed on Snapchat a day before the show. Hi, millennials!

Gareth Pugh's disco-tribute to Soho was inspired.

It's All About The Money

It might all seem like a lot of silly dressing up, but then Mintel publishes numbers like this: 2015 will be a bumper year for the British fashion industry, with predicated sales of £27,051 billion, up 4% on 2014. From The Telegraph:
It’s hard to overstate the biannual London Fashion Week's influence on those figures: this season, the British Fashion Council estimates £100 million worth of orders will be placed over the course of London Fashion Week, as 5,000 buyers, journalists, bloggers and photographers will flock to the city
