Londonist is the proud media partner of London Transport Museum's Transported by Design season.
This Friday, London Transport Museum remains open until 10pm as part of the Museums at Night festival.
A packed programme kicking off at 6.45pm offers you the chance to sample the museum's new Gimlet Reloaded cocktail at the Upper Deck Bar, play Tube Twister, build a balloon-powered night bus, and explore the museum's wonderful collection after dark.
You can take part in curator-led tours of the new Night Shift exhibition (see our review) and the latest Poster Parade display, plus hear talks about London's unique night-life: Susan Scott will spill stories about The Savoy, while Lucinda Gosling discloses the secrets of London’s high society in the 1920s, in Scandalous London.
There'll also be film screenings of Under Night Streets, a short 1958 documentary about London's underground railway workers.
And as if that weren't enough, there's the usual Friday Late fun, including a scavenger hunt, DJ playing 60s and 70s soul, and delicious food and drink, including a special offer on the Museum's Night Bus cocktail: two for £10.
Make Mine A Double Late takes place on Friday 30 October, between 6.45pm and 10pm at London Transport Museum, Covent Garden Piazza, London, WC2E 7BB. Tickets £8. Lates are for over 18s only.
