South Bank In Winter: Striking New Poster Unveiled

Winter on South Bank officially begins with the launch of the South Bank Winter microsite and the reveal of this striking poster, designed by Red Gate Arts, depicting a festively illuminated Riverside Walkway.

Every year, South Bank London commissions a beautiful illustration to celebrate the season. For 2015, the artwork evokes twinkling lights, reflections in the Thames, major attractions looking their best, the sounds of performers and the hubbub of seasonal excitement... a stroll along South Bank is an enchanting experience in winter.

The South Bank Winter microsite is the place to find myriad creative, cultural and unusual things to do as the temperature drops, including theatre, film, tours, cruises, exhibitions and attractions. There are activities to suit all the family — many of them free — as well as diverse places to eat and drink, from market stall to cocktail bar to restaurant.

Festive treats and suggestions for Christmas shopping abound, and if you're visiting from out of town, there are recommendations for hotels in the heart of South Bank to suit all budgets.

Visit South Bank Winter to find out more. Love the poster? You can buy a copy here.
