Reginald D Hunter will headline the first bill of a new comedy night — Live at the Rivoli — on 26 February at the Rivoli Ballroom in Brockley.

The decadent 1950s ballroom is best known for its jive and swing dancing, but in this case, punters needn't know how to Charleston — a sense of humour will suffice.

The ballroom is often used for filming, and featured in the 2015 Kray twins movie Legend.

Hunter — known for his appearances on Have I Got New for You and QI — shares the bill with Sara Pascoe, Ed Gamble and a special guest. The comedy nights will be a monthly thing, perhaps challenging Union Chapel's crown for most stunning comedy venue in London.

Tickets are £18.50 and on sale now.
