Check Out This Map Of David Bowie's London

David Bowie may have spent large chunks of his life in New York, LA and Berlin, but London was the city that made him, and where he laid on some of his most memorable performances.

Drawing from Kevin Cann’s Any Day Now: David Bowie A London Life 1947-74, city guide aficionados Herb Lester and pop-culture writer Paul Gorman have compiled an online map of the great singer's London.

The map charts everything from Bowie's dramatic Station to Station shows at Wembley arena in 1976, to Lime Grove Studios in Shepherd's Bush, where a fledgling Bowie once appeared on a BBC discussion show as the spokesman for The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Long-Haired Men.
