BE ADVENTUROUS: The UK's only show dedicated to discovering the world off the beaten track, the Adventure Travel Show comes to Olympia London this weekend. The venue will be crammed with specialist adventure travel companies and packed with inspirational talks for you to attend. CYCLE REVOLUTION: The humble bicycle has got its own exhibition at the Design Museum. This ride through contemporary British cycling, from commuting to the Olympics, looks at where design and innovation might take the riders of the future. See bikes galore — from Bradley Wiggins’s 2015 Hour Record bike to the earliest prototype Brompton in existence, and many more. £13.65, just turn up, 10am-5.45pm

HAIRY THINGS AT THE TATE: Get up close with steel car bumpers and 4,000 metres of knotted human hair at Behold — Indian artist, Sheela Gowda's huge Tate Modern installation. Part of the Material Worlds display. Free, just turn up, 10am-6pm

ICE SKATING: You can still get your skates on at Broadgate Ice Rink, near Liverpool Street Station. The magical rink in Exchange Square suits skaters of all ability (skate aids in the form of cute penguins are even available) and is surrounded by restaurants and bars for you to chill in afterwards. KEVIN HART: The Ride Along comedy star and rather funny stand up, Kevin Hart brings his What Now? tour to London this weekend. His past tours, Laugh At My Pain and Let Me Explain received rave reviews, so be prepared for some serious funny business. RIDE THE ROAD TO RUIN: The relationship between Londoners and their booze is as old as the city itself. Join Hazel on A Road To Ruin: Londoners And Their Booze — an alcohol-themed walk around the city. SIMON REEVE AT THE ADVENTURE SHOW: A familiar face on over 60 TV shows, Simon Reeve has visited more than 110 countries on his extraordinary journeys. SECRET UNDERGROUND CHAMBER WALK: Meet at Bermondsey tube station and join a walking tour to the Brunel Museum's secret underground chamber. UNIQUE SPITALFIELDS: Explore the Spitalfields area with London blogger Katie in Experience The Unique Spirit of Spitalfields.
