Sport Relief is coming: time to run, swim or cycle for a very good cause. But even if you're not the active type, you can still have a blast for charity — book any of these events and at least a pound will be donated.
Enter the Games
If you like to get your sweat on, join one of over 50 London-based events for this year's Sport Relief Games. Join in a nationwide effort to get active and raise life-changing cash, by either running, cycling or swimming. Whatever your ability, from total novice to Olympic-level pro, you'll be helping people living incredibly tough lives both here in the UK and around the world. 18-20 March

ICE HOCKEY: See the formidable London Raiders take on the Milton Keynes Thunder, the Oxford City Stars and the Chelmsford Chieftains at the Lee Valley Ice Centre. These are some fierce rivalries — be there to cheer on your team. 27 February, 6 March, 19 March
BASKETBALL: It's time for some slam dunkin' fun as local team the London Lions battle the Cheshire Phoenix at the Copper Box, originally used in the 2012 Olympics and now their new home. If you're not already hooked on basketball, pop along and see why those 'Muricans get so excited about it. 30 March
BOXING: Former two-weight World Champion David Haye took just 131 seconds to knockout WBA Top 10 ranked Mark De Mori. The Hayemaker continues in his bid to unify the Heavyweight division and reclaim the world title at the O2 this spring. 21 May
RUGBY: There are rugby legends galore as the British Barbarians take on the South African Springboks at Wembley Stadium, no less. This is the Barbarians' first appearance at the iconic London stadium since the Olympic Centenary match against Australia in 2008 — one not to miss. 5 November

SILVER SCREAM SLEEPOVER: Head to the London Bridge Experience for terrifying horror taken to a whole new level. You'll go on a torchlit tour of the UK's Scariest Attraction, settle down to a spine-chilling showing of The Omen, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Fly or Psycho, and then bed down for the night(mares). 27 February, 5 March, 12 March, 19 March
REBEL BINGO: Billed as 'bad-ass bingo with silly prizes galore', expect lights, music and dancing along with your bingo and other wacky games at this Clapham Grand entertainment extravaganza. 4 March, 15 April
SUPA DUPA FLY: If you can't stop listening to Kisstory, bumpin' and grindin' to garage beats and hippin' and a hoppin' to R&B, this is the night for you. Get your 90s and noughties fix at Mode in Notting Hill, and you'll be humming away for the rest of the week. 4 March
THE AMAZING DYNAMO: Brace yourself for a return to true childhood wonder when you see Dynamo do his magic thing at his supersize stage show, Seeing is Believing. There'll be stage illusions, sleight of hand and mathematical magic to awe the audience. 29 - 30 March
CIRCUSFEST: The fabulous Race Horse Company returns to London to delight audiences once more with serious circus stunts including the wheel of death, a human catapult, trampolining and the teeterboard. This gravity-defying daredevil derring-do comes in a night of non-stop colour and fun. 4 - 9 April
GOOSEBUMPS ALIVE: Immerse yourself in the world of Goosebumps, a wacky underworld of sticky goo, neon ghosts and creepy old-timers at the Vaults at Waterloo. This is spookurbia. 6 April - 29 May
CLASSIC CAR BOOT SALE: King's Cross sees over 100 traders selling all sorts of stuff from the boots of their vintage vehicles, from the curious to the collectible. Whether you're a vinyl lover, a craft beer drinker, a fan of heritage fairground rides, street theatre or rare cars, this is the place to be. 16 - 17 April
LIONEL RICHIE: Mr Richie really needs no introduction. You've got two days to catch him in London, performing a greatest hits line-up that'll knock your socks off. Truly a living legend. 3 July
