Love Gin? Then You'll Want To Go To This Gin Festival
All the gin, please.

Forget muddy fields and long queues for chemical toilets this summer, the best festivals are all about gin.

Junipalooza sees 40 distillers gather at Tobacco Dock from 11-12 June to take part in a boozy extravaganza of masterclasses, music, food, cocktails and of course, plenty of gin tastings.

The festival starts on World Gin Day (June 11); more than 18 UK brands join forces with international distillers to celebrate one the spirit that made/broke London.

The line up of UK distillers includes Dodd's, East London Liquor Company, Isle of White Distillery, Mews Gin, Conker Spirits, Sipsmith, Hayman's, Warner Edwards, Martin Miller's Gin, Two Birds, Pinkster, Makar, Tarquin, Shortcross, Bathtub, Adnams, Caorunn and Thomas Dakin. Distillers from countries including Switzerland, the USA and even Australia will also be joining the festival.

Commenting on the festival, Gin Foundry's editor Olivier Ward says: "Junipalooza is one of those rare opportunities to meet the actual distillers and discover more about how they make their gins. So many gin-makers fly in for the occasion and travel from all over the world just to be there.

"Having them all there in person always creates a very inclusive, authentic and fun atmosphere. It’s a true celebration and one that's a must-do for any gin fan.”

Junipalooza, 11-12 June. There are two sessions per day 11am-3pm and 4pm-8pm. Tickets cost £39 pp and must be bought in advance.
