Seen the video of William Shatner as Captain Kirk screaming "Khaaaaaaannn!" at the top of his Canadian lungs?
It's been doing the rounds for much of the mayoral election campaign — the joke being that this is what Zac Goldsmith has been doing behind closed doors.
Now the results are in, Shatner has officially congratulated Sadiq Khan on his victory, with trademark eccentricity:
