A First Look At South Bank's Mini Cadbury World

Note: this event took place 3-5 June 2016.

How do you fancy diving into a ball pit, racing on space hoppers and whizzing down a slide — with someone feeding you free chocolate the whole way?

If the answer's a giant 'yes', get yourself to South Bank this weekend you big kid, you. The Cadbury Obey Your Mouth house is in town for three days, and it's completely free to visit.

Calling it a house is a bit of a stretch — it's actually a series of shipping containers stacked between Udderbelly Festival and the London Eye, and slathered in Cadbury livery.

Each of the five rooms represents a certain chocolate bar (Boost, Twirl, Wispa, Double Decker, Crunchie), with samples of each handed out along the way. There's no elegant way to get into the Twirl ball pit, so launch yourself in with wild abandon before throwing yourself through the car wash-esque rollers of the Double Decker.

Get that Friday feeling in the Crunchie room, complete with DJ, dressing up box, and all the beach balls and balloons you could ever need.

It's a bit like a funfair style Fun House — think less mirrors, more chocolate. It's free to visit and no booking is required, so we recommend getting down there early one day this weekend to avoid queues. If the temptation of the slide doesn't draw passers by in, the alluring smell of chocolate drifting along South Bank certainly will.

The Cadbury Obey Your Mouth House is on South Bank 3-5 June, 11.30am-8.30pm. It's free to visit and open to anyone age 16+ (or 12+ if accompanied by an adult).
