In Pictures: London's RIBA Prize-Winning Architecture 2016

The winners of the 2016 RIBA National Awards — among the most prestigious awards for new buildings in the UK — have been announced, with 16 London projects making the list of 46.

Though the majority of winners are new builds — such as the hypnotically-ceilinged Gateway Pavilions in North Greenwich — a handful are London institutions that have received some due love and care (such as Wilton's Music Hall and Sir John Soane's Museum, below).
