Where To Watch The Ab Fab Movie In London, Sweetie Darling

Sweetie darling, grab the Bolly and call the chauffeur — Ab Fab is back. Two of London's most wayward residents, Patsy and Eddy, stagger back onto screens on 1 July in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.

Although the action takes place largely on the French Riviera, London's rolling out the red carpet with special screenings and launch parties. You'd do well to book quickly — tickets for some of these events are selling faster than Patsy dashing to a Harvey Nicks sale, and if you miss out, it's a night at home with Saffy for you.

Opening night, Everyman Cinemas

90s dress is absolutely encouraged at screenings at Everyman Cinemas, where ticket prices include Chambord Royale cocktails and canapes.

Barnet/Belsize Park/ Maida Vale. £30/£35, book in advance, 1 July, 8.30pm

Absolutely Fabulous at The Lounge

The Lounge at The Odeon, Whiteleys, offers a special screening package with a specially designed menu (and a glass of Bollinger champagne) to tuck into while you recline in leather seats to watch the film.

£50 per person, available 1-3 July

Brunch, darling

Various Picturehouse Cinemas including Clapham, Crouch End and East Dulwich are putting on special brunch screenings of the film, with a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel and a glass of champagne included.

The Ritzy goes one step further with a choice of Eddy, Patsy or Saffy packages for an extra cost (alas, the boozy brunch rave has long since sold out).

£25, book in advance, check individual locations for screening times

Sweetie Darling Ab Fab Takeover

Shoreditch's The Book Club hosts an Ab Fab takeover night. Don your best Eddy-style clothes (shell suit optional) for the Fash-Off Catwalk, swot up Saffy-style for the Ab Fab quiz (or just sit in the corner with the booze, Patsy-style). There's also a blindfolded lippy challenge and an Ab Fab fabstacle course (no, we're not sure either).

£8, book in advance, 6 July, 7pm
