What's a Dream Jar?
Dream Jars feature in the ever-popular Roald Dahl story The BFG, about a big, friendly giant who blows dreams into the bedrooms of children around the world.
The concept for this new sculpture trail is that The BFG has left some 6ft Dream Jars around London...
Visitors and Londoners alike are encouraged to find the jars, take pictures and share them with the hashtag #BFGDreamJars.
There are 34 Dream Jars to spot from 9 July. The remaining 16 will be in place by 22 July, in time for the arrival of The BFG film in cinemas.
Whose dreams are inside The BFG Dream Jars?
Celebrities such as film director Steven Spielberg, actors Mark Rylance and Maisie Williams, as well as Sophie Dahl, illustrator Quentin Blake, Nadiya Hussain from the Great British Bake Off, and Paralympian David Weir have all had their childhood dreams turned into sculptures for the Dream Jar trail.
In addition, there are Dream Jars featuring the dreams of Stephen Hawking, Sadiq Khan, the Delevingne sisters, Helen Mirren, Henry Holland and Levi Roots.
So the trail is connected to The BFG film coming out this summer?
Yes!
Spielberg's directing and Mark Rylance stars as the eponymous giant in this new Disney version of the popular book, so they're contributing to this special Dream Jar trail.
Plus it's the 100th anniversary of Roald Dahl's birth this year, so there are plenty of 'Dahlicious' treats taking place across London as part of Roald Dahl 100.
Where can I find The BFG Dream Jars?
You'll need to look on this map, from the trail organisers, Visit London.
(Completists will need to travel out of town *shudder* to see them all, as one Dream Jar is stationed at Roald Dahl's former home in Great Missenden, and there are others in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow.)
How much does The BFG Dream Jar Trail cost?
Nothing! To take part in the Dream Jar Trail is absolutely free.
When is The BFG Dream Jar Trail running?
You can spot The BFG Dream Jars on the streets of London between 9 July and 31 August.
What will happen to the Dream Jars once the trail is over?
After the 31 August, the Dream Jars will be auctioned to raise money for two charities: Save the Children and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, which provides nursing care and family support for seriously ill children.
