Watch Titanic On A Boat On The Thames

Ahoy, film lubbers!

This summer, the people behind Rooftop Film Club are introducing HMS Film Club — a floating cinema on the Thames.

From 10-12 August, The Good Ship Benefit on Victoria Embankment is lowering the gangplank and inviting you to watch classic movies on deck, including When Harry Met Sally and Romeo + Juliet (10 August) and The Devil Wears Prada and Muriel's Wedding (12 August).

Of course, if you're going to watch a film on a boat, you might as well make it the ultimate floating/not floating disaster movie, Titanic (please no spoilers, we haven't seen it yet). That's screened on 11 August.

Our advice: it goes down much better if you sink a few drinks with it.

HMS Film Club takes place 10-12 August, aboard The Good Ship Benefit at RS Hispaniola, Victoria Embankment, WC2N 5DJ. Tickets £25, including a Pimm's on arrival, some Tyrrells Poshcorn.
