Have You Been To This Secret Garden In The West End?

Nestled in the heart of the West End, The Phoenix Garden is a community-run garden enjoyed by over 400 people every day in summer, as well as by the various animals that inhabit the garden.

The Phoenix Garden is the last existing community open space in Covent Garden. Seven community spaces were built on bomb sites from the second world war, but the others have all now been closed to be used for property.

Unfortunately the garden no longer receives grants from Camden Council, so it needs the help of the public to keep it open and finish its refurbishments. The Mayor of London has pledged £10,000 towards the campaign, but The Phoenix Garden still needs to raise £5000 by the end of August to unlock this pledge and finish making the garden an attractive and accessible space.

You can show your support to the garden and help keep the West End's tranquil retreat by becoming a member for £12 a year, or by donating any amount to The Phoenix Garden. Find out more here.

The Phoenix Garden is home to plenty of wildlife.

This video tells you everything you need to know about The Phoenix Garden and its campaign.
