Have you hosted refugees, befriended the elderly or worked in a busy A&E department? Become passionate about a cause and actively campaigned for it?

Looking After London features 10 short documentaries exploring the lives of people who give their time to care for others. There are only two chances to catch it — at the Lexi Cinema in Kensal Green (19 September) and Hackney Picturehouse (26 September).

It's a project by 1000 Londoners, a five-year plan to make a digital portrait of 1,000 people who identify with London.

1000 Londoners: Looking After London is on 19 September, 7pm, at Lexi Cinema (tickets £7), and 26 September, 7pm, at Hackney Picturehouse (tickets £5).
