Donald Trump: The View From London's Streets
A pre-election portrait of Trump on a door in Shoreditch, proving that he isn't really unhinged. Image by M@.

The election of Donald Trump to the US presidency has prompted the widest range of reaction around the world. Here in London, the businessman-turned-statesman has elicited a wave of responses from street artists to shopkeepers to anyone else with a means of expression. Here are some of the Trump-fuelled interventions, snapped around town.

A Trumpkin, from Lambeth Country Show, in July 2016, before the election. It's good, but the hair is too sensible, and the skin isn't orange enough. Spotted by Torsten Reimer in the Londonist Flickr pool.
'God Help Us' cries this shop front on Stoke Newington Road, not long after the result. Image by Alan Denney in the Londonist Flickr pool.
A North-Korean-style propaganda poster at West Finchley station. Spotted by river road travels in the Londonist Flickr pool.
The Real Killer Clown, according to this utility box in Camden by Joe O'Malley in the Londonist Flickr pool.

Cafe owners, too, are making fun of the Donald. This was spotted at Caffe Grana near St James's Park by SultanTabular in the Londonist Flickr pool.
For a time, it looked like we might have a President Trump and a Prime Minister Boris. (And it could yet happen.) This image originated in Bristol, but here makes its way onto a Shoreditch wall. Image by M@.
