Vote: What's London's Worst Public Sculpture?
A broken lion sculpture on Bethnal Green Road. Give us a roar if you spot this hidden message.
Lion around. Don't vote for stuff like this, obviously; it's just that we don't want to influence the poll by including real examples.

Wanted: your nominations for London's worst piece of public art.

Did you ever walk past a London statue or sculpture and think 'too big', 'too ugly', 'too daft', or 'that's in a totally inappropriate place'?

London Historians and the London Society want to hear from you in a joint poll, accessed through this nominations page.

The votes will be counted towards the end of the year, and a second round of voting will then take place on the top 10 most popular suggestions.

This one was temporary (on top of the Peckham multistorey) so, again, won't influence your vote.

It can be a statue or a sculpture, so long as it's in a place that the general public might easily chance across (e.g. park, street, shopping centre, station... but not places like office lobbies).

The 'winner' will be revealed at a special event next year, and announced on these pages.

Please, go and vent your ire.
