Don't let the lack of a garden keep you from getting green-fingered this summer. Pick up tips and ideas about how to green up your city space at the RHS London Summer Urban Garden Show, taking place 11-13 July.

Whether you want advice on which flowers to plant on your balcony, or which herbs will thrive on your kitchen windowsill, there will be answers and inspiration at this London-focused show. Talks include Big Ideas for Small Spaces, and Handmade Apothecary.

If you're looking for an after work event, head to the show's late evening on 11 July. It'll be open until 10pm, giving you a chance to grab a free drink, absorb the atmosphere and admire the artistry.

There'll be plenty of inspiration for interior planting, as well as a reworking of the Heart of Glass installation from RHS Chatsworth. It features a sphere covered in moss, complete with an interactive globe, an ambient soundscape and even a disco ball.

If you fancy getting hands on, sign up for one of the fantastic workshops on offer; learn how to make your own perfume, create a terrarium, or master the art of floral origami.

At the Late Event on 11 July botanically-inspired cocktails and global street food will be available, as will free floral face-painting and even a DJ in a giant terrarium booth. For an evening with a difference, check out this urban-inspired garden show that will have you at the garden centre before you can say 'RHS'.

Find out more about the RHS London Summer Urban Garden Show here. Entry is free on 12 and 13 July, but you'll need to get a ticket for the late event on 11 July (tickets include a free drink).
