Aperol lovers, rejoice. In what is the possibly the best news to hit the capital in weeks, ice-cold glasses of our favourite bright orange fizz will be making their way straight to Londoners' doorsteps.
No more must you brave the packed tube and baking heat in pursuit of the perfectly mixed, bitter-sweet summertime aperitivo. No more will you have to break £20 note for a libation that would set you back a mere couple of euros in its native Italy. At least, not while the Aperol Mobile is in town. From 13-15 August, you can sign up for Aperol-ivery and get two expertly crafted spritzes delivered to your door — completely free.
The momentous event is taking place in aid of National Prosecco Day, which we can all agree is worthy of a note in your diary.
To get in on the action, make sure you register via the Aperol website by 10pm on Friday 10 August. You'll be entered into a ballot, and the drinks will be delivered to the winning addresses.
