Celebrate Christmas The Right Way At The Eat & Drink Festival

This is a sponsored article on behalf of Eat & Drink Festival.

Now we don't know about you, but if there's one thing that comes to mind when we think of Christmas, it's eating lots of fabulous food. Mince pies, roast dinners, mulled wine and Christmas pudding... you name it — the festive season is synonymous with the stuff. And let's be honest, any excuse will do to enjoy a proper good feast.

But if you really need an excuse, then the Christmas Eat & Drink Festival, arriving at Olympia London this November, is the festive foodie event that you've been waiting for. This scrumptious day out is a great opportunity to try some tasty treats, pick up some Christmas gifts and even bring home some tips to inspire your own festive cooking.

More than 100 of the best artisan and independent producers will be in attendance, showcasing a range of take-home delights, from fresh produce to handmade products. And trust us, when everything tastes this good, you're going to want to take some of it home to impress friends and family at the dinner table...

And don't worry if your cooking skills aren't quite up to scratch: experts are on hand. Top chefs and cookery personalities such as Galvin at Windows' very own Fred Sirieix, baking queen Candice Brown and Masterchef's Greg Wallace will be cooking up a storm in live cookery demos, teaching you those all important tips and tricks for Christmas Day.

Just as important as the food though, is the drink that goes with it. The Drinks Station is home to the most celebrated drinks industry experts, who will shed light on the top tipples to pair with your festive feast — whether that be wine, beer or cocktails. You'll have the chance to try some yourself too, with top mixologists and bar managers serving up creative cocktails, and bottles of your favourite tipple available for purchase.

It's not just Christmas nosh though. Visitors can walk the 'Streets of London', sampling flavours from across the capital. Pick up a quick lunch, a delicious dinner or simply get lost in the aromas from some of the country's top street food vendors. Thursday evening is extra tasty, as the festival stays open extra late and turns into a buzzing hub of nightlife, soundtracked by some of London's finest up and coming street musicians and artists. It's the perfect destination for that much needed after work drink.

The Christmas Eat & Drink Festival is on from the 22-26 November at Olympia London, running for a jam-packed five days. If the sound of all of this has you feeling peckish, you can grab your tickets for the event here — and to sweeten the deal, the first 200 Londonist readers to book with the code LONDFREE5 will get theirs completely free. So what are you waiting for?
