Dinner is coming.
Coinciding with the launch of the final series of Game of Thrones is a new spoof immersive dining experience. Yes, London is now apparently beyond normal dining experiences, and spoofs are the way to go. Presumably spoofs have the additional bonus of dodging copyright fees.
You are invited to the wedding of the heir of the Several Kingdoms, Jaffrey Bearathon and Margarine Trywell. The night unfolds in a blend of feasting, comedy, theatre and an unhealthy dose of murder. The Vaults in Waterloo host the event — underground tunnels do play a key role in one unforgettable Game of Thrones sequence, and we wonder whether any allusion might be made to deadly wildfire.
The key ingredients for anything Game of Thrones related have thankfully been promised: nudity, violence, strong language and dragons. Hopefully in that order.
You can book tickets via The Vaults' website. Tickets cost £30-£55, and Dinner is Coming runs 9 April-2 June 2019.
