Just Brie-liant: Another Cheese Bar Is Coming To London
Have you tried The Cheese Bar's famous toasties?

Calling all fromage fans — put down that cheddar and listen up. The Cheese Bar, the Camden restaurant dedicated to real British cheese, is getting ready to open a second site in the West End.

That means that, come winter, you'll be able to tuck into all manner of gooey goodness, including smoked mozzarella sticks and chilli jam, chicken poutine with blue cheese raclette, and a romantic four cheese fondue for two. And because nothing pairs better with cheese than a nice glass of red, the Covent Garden restaurant will boast a candlelit basement wine bar. Here, you can take your pick from boards of cheese and freshly sliced Blackhand charcuterie before choosing your tipple from a 70-strong wine list.

But before all your cheesy dreams can come true, founder Mathew Carver is looking to raise £200,000 on Crowdcube. His crowdfunding campaign for the original Cheese Bar smashed its £100k target in just three days, so we're quietly confident that this won't be too much of a challenge. If you fancy helping things along a bit, know that every Crowdcube investor will receive a slice of ownership, and there are further rewards including free meals and even event catering courtesy of The Cheese Truck, depending on how much you choose to invest.

There's no word yet on exactly when The Cheese Bar will open its doors in Covent Garden, but the Crowdcube campaign kicks off on Monday 20 August. If you're feeling extra keen, you can get details on investing before then here.
