Where Is This? Mystery Location On Londonist Memory Machine
Swans in water before a London background.
Where is this?

Can you identify this mystery London location?

Ken Stevens, a member of the Londonist Memory Machine Facebook group, acquired this postcard some years ago, but has never traced the location. The only clue is a pencil mark on the rear saying 'London N7'.

Over on the FB group, members have suggested that the scene is somewhere within the City Road or Wenlock Basins of the Regent's Canal, though others think it might be a scene from the King's Cross railway lands (despite the stated postcode).

Can you identify the exact location? What is that distinctive church in the background? And why are so many smartly dressed families walking through what is ostensibly an industrial area?

Let us know in the comments, or over on the Facebook thread.
