Yep, that's right. It's February and we're already talking about Christmas.
Hundreds of thousands of people see the Oxford Street Christmas lights every year — and now a competition has been launched to find someone to design new lights for Christmas 2018.
Don't get your doodle pad out yet though — the competition is looking for experienced lighting designers and architectural specialists, rather than just your average Christmas fanatic.
Organised by Oxford Street and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), anonymous design proposals will need to be submitted by 26 March 2018
After this, four shortlisted designs will progress to the final round, and the final design will be in situ in time for the 2018 big switch-on. Watch this space...
