Parsons Green Blast Declared By Police As A Terrorist Incident

An explosion on a District line train at Parsons Green this morning is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command.

The explosion is reported have have happened at 8.20am, with images and videos of a flaming bucket in one of the carriages being posted online, purported to be the — or one of the — potential sources of the blast.

'A number of injuries' are said to have been inflicted, although at this point, that exact number isn't clear. No fatalities have been announced, as of the time of publishing this article.
