Craft Beer Co. You probably know the drill by now. A big long bar filled with more kegs and casks than you could possibly sample in one session. This simple but glorious idea is continued here at the chain's eighth branch, which opened in summer 2017. We counted almost 30 options, and that's before the fridge bottles.
CBC is easy to find, opposite Limehouse DLR stop. In fact, we incorporated it into our DLR pub crawl a while back.
The place has smartened up a lot since its days as the locals-focussed Railway Tavern. It now attracts a youngish crowd from a wider catchment.
The small downstairs area is supplemented with a further drinking lounge upstairs, and what the pub bills (in large letters) as a 'secret roof terrace'.
This is a tiny but welcome outdoor spot for those lucky enough to bag it. And be sure to keep off the grass.
