Stuff We Found Around Town That Should Be In A Harry Potter Movie

Potter fever isn't leaving London anytime soon. Not with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child still showing. You can see lots of magical Harry Potter locations in this video we made, but we've also spotted some mystical (and creepy) delights on our own adventures. From sneaky snitches to creepy ballerinas, here a few things around town that should be in a Harry Potter film.

The embellishments on these gates outside Highgate School look exactly like The Golden Snitch. And the school doesn't look unlike Hogwarts from this angle either. Maybe they actually play Quidditch here.

Harry obviously needs an owl. This one is perched on the top of the clock on King William Street. He will not bring you your mail, for he is made out of metal.

Every Harry Potter film needs a monster or seven. Behold: the legendary Mop Creature. It can only be defeated with the magical spell of rain and the urine of seven drunk men.

Another monster for you. Harry Potter and the Really Unsettling Ballerina With a Globe for a Face. We would definitely watch that film. Twice. You can find her in Covent Garden.

If we ever lose the real Hagrid (we'll concede that this is not that likely, he's rather big), Hamleys built one out of Lego. He'd definitely come in handy. Less effective as a stunt double, though.

Yep, a pottery that looks like it should be in Harry Pottery. A Harry Pottery, if you will.
