Where To Watch England Vs Croatia In The World Cup Semi-Finals On Wednesday

We did it! The Three Lions have reached the World Cup semi-finals for the first time in 28 years. If you're looking for somewhere in London to watch the match against Croatia on Wednesday, read on.

Head to The Roadhouse in Covent Garden

Near the Croatian Embassy

The Croatian Embassy is located on Conway Street, close to Great Portland Street and Warren Street tube stations. Pubs nearby showing the match include The Prince of Wales Feathers (free entry, book ahead, food and drink packages available), The Grafton Arms (free entry to the bar and upstairs terrace) and The Green Man.

Zlatans, Clapham

Legendary Clapham nightclub Infernos has Zlatans, a World Cup pop-up which has been running throughout the tournament. There's a massive screen, arena-style seating, trumpets and football singalongs. Tickets include a standing spot and a beer or wine.
From £10, booking required.

London Designer Outlet, Wembley

London Designer Outlet is showing the match on the big screen, offering a family-friendly, alcohol-free viewing area. 200 free England flags will be given out to wave during the match, and there will be live music and anthems from the Football Crazy band.
Free, just turn up from 5.30pm

Tropicana Beach Club, Covent Garden

Tropicana Beach Club

At this particular Club Tropicana, drinks aren't quite free, but expect happy hour deals throughout the match, along with live entertainment and surround sound.
£10-£15, booking required

Pitch Stratford

This one will undoubtedly sell out fast, so get your act together quick if you want to guarantee yourself a ticket. Enjoy HD TVs along with bountiful food and drink on offer.
£5, booking required (they sold out for the quarter final, with no tickets on the door)

The Water Poet, Spitalfields

Our go-to pub for any big event, The Water Poet will be showing the match on nine — count 'em, nine -  screens throughout the pub and garden, including an enormous one in the bar. Tables are bookable, but if you're making last minute plans, the size of the place makes it one of your best turn-up-and-hope-there's-space options.
Free entry, booking a table recommended

Camden Market

Camden's iconic market has its own big screen, surrounded by food stalls from around the world. Along with a bar, pizzas celebrating the tastes and flavours of both teams will be available to buy.
Free entry, just turn up

Beer Merchants Tap, Hackney Wick

A new addition to our pub guide, Beer Merchants Tap in Hackney Wick has transformed its back room into a Football Beer Hall with capacity for 80. Half the tables are bookable, the other half are first come first served on the day. That should prove interesting on Wednesday.
Free entry, booking recommended.

Boxpark Croydon and Shoreditch

Tickets to screenings at both BoxParks are available from 2.30pm on Monday 9 July (price TBC). Get in there quickly to get one, and take part in the ensuing madness if England score. You'll probably end up on the BBC highlights.

Flat Iron Square, Borough

Flat Iron Square

Why not watch the match in the open air at Flat Iron Square. The Bankside street food market will be showing the England game on every one of its large screens, and you won't have far to travel for refreshments.
England games are now ticketed - £10, book ahead (on sale Sunday 8 July at 5pm).

The Roadhouse, Covent Garden

This Covent Garden bar is going all out with happy hours, drinks deals, burgers and four giant screens, plus live bands before and after the match.
Free entry, table booking recommended.

Don't be a muppet

London, we don't want to sound like your mum, but listen up: Whatever the score, whether England win or lose, be nice. Don't smash bus stops. Don't interfere with emergency service vehicles. Don't get run over. Just. Be. Nice. If in doubt, invoke the country's new mantra: What Would Gareth Southgate Do?

This is just a small selection of the London venues that'll be screening the England vs. Croatia game. For more ideas, take a look at our complete guide to where to watch World Cup matches in London.
