Play On 180 Retro Games Consoles At The Science Museum
Definitely better than Topspin 4

Video game geeks and nostalgic nerds: prepare to wet your knickers.

Power UP at the Science Museum has been rebooted for a second year. That means 180 retro consoles — some 40 year old — loaded up with creme-de-la-creme of video games. Think blocky tennis back-and-forth Pong, peerless duff-em-up Street Fighter II, and weird-faced-eat-em-up Pacman.

Gamers sign up for 90-minute sessions (please don't hog Goldeneye) — or can power up, and buy a half day pass.

We went along last year and scored Power UP ★★★★☆

Power UP is at the Science Museum from 20-31 October. Adults £10/£18, kids £8/£14. Book here
