Out Of Depth In The Art World? The Talented Art Fair Is Open To All

This is a sponsored article on behalf of Talented Art Fair.

After last year's successful launch — with over 8,000 visitors on its inaugural weekend — the Talented Art Fair is back for 2018, and London's art enthusiasts ought to be singing from the rooftops. Forget the pretence of traditional art fairs — this is the one place that art world newbies, cautious collectors and pro gallery-hoppers can all search for that perfect piece.

This isn't any old art we're talking about, either. The fair, hand-curated by the organisers, features more than 1000 pieces from only the most exciting contemporary British and international artists. Whether they be talented recent graduates, or established award-winning favourites — you can be sure you're getting your hands on something special.

Plus, the fair's unique position as a platform for artists to sell directly to the buying public means you'll be dealing directly with the talent themselves — no middlemen. These guys know their stuff, and getting chatting to the brains behind the masterpiece can really add that extra personal touch.

Thinking about picking up a piece, but worried that your bank account might not be so keen on the idea? Worry not. Entry to the fair is completely free — so you're welcome to come and browse at your leisure — and works start from as little as £50 to a maximum of £5,000, meaning there's something to suit every budget.

If you're itching to get a sneak peek at some of the works on offer, tickets to Friday evening's private view (6pm-9pm) are available for just £7 here, including a brochure and a drink. Weekend entry (noon-6.30pm) is completely free, but attendees must register their place here.

Talented Art Fair 2018 is on at The Old Truman Brewery from 2-4 March 2018. Entrance to the event is Ely's Yard, off Hanbury Street. Click here to find out more.
