Whoever decided this was a good event to do in January, we don't know...
This Sunday 7 January, at 3pm, don't be surprised to see number of tube passengers who've seemingly forgot to put their trousers on.
They'll be taking part in the No Trousers Tube Ride (at least hopefully that's what they're taking part in). Sunday's is the ninth annual event in London, which originated in New York in 2002 as No Pants Subway Ride.
The event now takes place on the same day in cities across the world.
According to the No Trousers Facebook page, "The point is to relax and enjoy the humor inherent in people not wearing trousers. A good rule of thumb is to pretend like you were going to wear trousers, and then just failed to put them on."
The event's free to take part in, and there are just two rules, (for our money, the second one's as tough as the first):
- Willing to take trousers off on the tube
- Able to keep a straight face about it
Eager to get trouserless? Brave participants are requested to meet up at a central London location, before 3pm on Sunday 7 January. Full details here.
