Here's your chance to relive the golden days of steam trains on the Underground network.

On the weekend of 9 and 10 September, you can ride a Metropolitan No. 1 steam locomotive and the 1938 art deco tube stock train between Amersham and Harrow-on-the-Hill.

Fortunately, this section of the network is above ground, so you can leave the breathing apparatus at home, and enjoy what's become an annual celebration of the tube of yesteryear.

Various vintage music acts, costumed characters, tea and cake services, market stalls and fairgrounds form part of the experience too. To find out what's going on when, read this.

Adult tickets range from £15-£25 (concessions also available). Book here.
