Mayor of London Sadiq Khan launched TfL's new 'improved Hopper fare' today (31 January).

The fare allows passengers to make unlimited bus and tram journeys within an hour of first touching in, for the price of a single journey (£1.50).

It applies to journeys paid for with Oyster or contactless cards, and you can make a tube or rail journey between Hopper journeys, and Hopper fares will still apply.

Previously, the Hopper fare allowed passengers to take a £1.50 bus or tram journey and then change onto one other bus or tram for free within one hour of touching in at the start of their journey.
