Yep, another tube strike. Here's what you need to know:
When is this tube strike?
This Friday, 13 April 2018. It's a 24 hour strike so things should be back to normal by Saturday morning.
Where is the strike?
It's a District line strike, by members of the ASLEF union who operate out of the Acton Town depot. The whole of the District line is likely to be affected.
What will be closed/affected?
TfL is estimating that the District line will be operating at 60% of its normal service, but be prepared for crowding and delays. It's not expecting any part of the line to be closed as a result of the strike. Unlike those recent DLR strikes, there's no mention of any extra buses being called in to take the strain.
As with all strikes, it's likely there will be knock-on effects. The Circle line in Central London is likely to be busier between Gloucester Road and Tower Hill. District line stations west of Earl's Court and east of Tower Hill will have a less regular service than usual.
