Something's Not Quite Right With This Tube Map...

Well, well, well. What have we here? Undeniably, it's a tube map, but it's much more unruly than Harry Beck's standard issue tube map.

That's because it's a geographical rendering, linking up the stations in the correct order, following the winds and bends of the route the tube tunnels take, rather than the straighter lines we're used to on the tube map. The result is something akin to trying to read a regular tube map when you've had one pint too many, and the stations are all swimming into one another.

It only features the District, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. TfL produced the map in April 2016 while planning upgrade works on these four lines.
